Actually I saw this picture a while ago, it is all over the net, but actually the Gizmondo guys found a Homeless who has a laptop! I found itĀ interesting, and it is good somehow. I was also wondering how he manages to take care of his laptop, how he charges the gadget and whatever needed while having a laptop.Ā Another picture with this homeless guy (or maybe other) and his laptop is here.
I used WP Shortstats for a while, but it has one big downside. I discovered it recently that it keeps collecting the data, and somehow managed to make my databases huge. One database had a table with more than 200mb of data in it. The database itself with all the posts and comments were less than 20 mb, and all other was this table of stats.
So I was searching or an alternative stats, and must say until today I didn’t liked any of the available stats. But today I discovered Wp-Slimstats and after installed it on a few blogs, I must say I am pretty impressed with this statistics. Its quite a lovely wordpress statistics plugin, it has much better features than wp-sortstats, it creates lovely visitor statistics, map based visual stats and so on. I am curious how it will handle the data over time.

A gorgeous movie. I was stunned after watching, and needed a few minutes to go back to “normal”. For a long time I didn’t saw a movie like this. It was strange, because I never heard of it, nobody mentioned it, and still Ink (2009) is a great movie. It was not a huge hit, but it is a huge movie. Well of course for those who love this style.

I came across this link while reading some posts on twitter.Ā And I was simply amazed how realistic the PETMAN, developed by Boston Dynamics robot was walking. Very very realistic. I liked when the operator pushed the robot and how the robot managed to get back to its track! Great work. (more…)

I saw this video long time ago. It was sent to me by a friend, don’t even remember who. I remember that I was watching it for the first time,Ā I was grabbing my chair, my table, the sensation was so scary.Ā I have some sort of scare of heights, but definitely its a place where I would like to walk through.

There was a day… a while ago, when I took the time and checked some settings on my photo camera. I have this machine, a Fujifilm Finepix S9600 for a while, and never ever took the time to check the settings, see what this camera really can do. On these strange day I dived into the deep dark settings of the Fujifilm Finepix S9600 camera and I discovered that I could take black and white pictures.
